st alphege music

The boys in the Choir are aged between 7 and 15.

They are a good bunch. They practice really hard, as well as singing services on Sundays. Please go to the Choral Services page to see exact details.

The choir suffers the universal problem of the boys growing up and their voices breaking. We are always on the lookout for boys aged 7 and 8 who would like to join and gain all the benefits of singing with a first class choir.

Boys' Practices:

Tuesdays
5.30 – 6.30

Fridays
6.30 – 8.30

Sundays
Before service

boys' choir

For more information regarding any of the choirs please email the Director of Music, Nigel Stark  or call him on 0121 705 1074 or 07792 276046.

The Director of Music is always ready to talk to anyone who is considering joining a choir or to a parent who is keen that their child has a chance to participate in music. We are particularly looking for boys and girls aged 7 or 8 to become probationers.

If you are interested in joining the Choir as an experienced singer, or you know a boy or girl who might be interested in joining as a probationer, then we would be very pleased to hear from you.
